The Alabama Theatre, located at Barefoot Landing, is home to The South’s Grandest Christmas Show! This is considered one of the top holiday shows in Myrtle Beach. The Christmas Show of the South
The Christmas Show of the South, also known as The Carolina Opry Christmas Special, is held each year at the Carolina Opry Theater in Myrtle Beach. In addition to The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, this production is also considered one of the best holiday shows in Myrtle Beach.
Audiences will be awed by professional singing, dancing, stage settings, special effects, and more; including holiday decor that will knock your socks off. In fact, the theater closes for an entire week to transform their space from an every-day look into what they call a “winter wonderland,” featuring over 35 decorated trees, 75 gorgeous wreaths, and over 5 miles of lighting.
